The Double A Trading Company Ltd are leading suppliers to the Scottish groundcare equipment market supplying a wide range of new and used groundcare equipment to golf courses, local authorities, caravan parks, contractors, estates, tree surgeons, landscapers, health boards, hire companies and homeowners across Scotland.
We are John Deere’s biggest Turf Equipment Dealer in Scotland covering an area from Aberdeenshire to Dumfries and Galloway and are UK importer and distributor for Tru-Turf Greens Rollers which are used on some of the top golf courses in the world.
The role:
Organising the Service team and using our computer-based planning and scheduling tools, your role will be to communicate with customers (both internal and external) and allocate and schedule work for a team of technicians. You will also carry out other duties such as:
• Developing retail sales revenue through the promotion of service contracts and extended warranty plans to both existing and new customers
• Ensuring our customer service levels meet our customers’ needs whilst maintaining a first-class standard of service at all time
• Supervising the day to day running of a team of technicians
This role would ideally suit someone who has prior experience in a coordinating/planning, customer-facing administrative position.
Skills and qualifications required for this role include:
• Exceptional organisational, administrative and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work well with colleagues
• Excellent customer service skills with the desire to put the customer first (whether an internal or external customer)
• Strong IT skills - this role is office & computer-based, and requires the ability to quickly process information, using both standard (Microsoft) and bespoke software
The successful candidate will be able to show previous experience in a relatable role, where planning and organisation, administration and communication was key. Experience within the groundcare, agriculture, plant or truck industries would be an advantage but not essential.
