Service Co-ordinator
This role includes responsiblity for administrating service processes to maximise administrative efficiency in the department. Assists the service team in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records. Maintains and takes charge of the warranty handling process. The role reports direct to the Aftersales Manager.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
Receives and directs internal and external customer work for the service department
Opens service jobs and maintains visibility until they are closed and invoiced
Processes warranty and product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow up, which ensures maximum return on warranty
Update customer profile records
Coordinates enrolment to training and follow up of training attendance as directed
Maintains service department filing, records and department information
Optimises Service Department processes to ensure complete internal and external customer satisfaction
The skills & Qualifications required for this role include:
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
Advance written communication skills
Ability to create, analyse and interpret reports
Organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new systems such as John Deere dealer business software
Able to work in a high pressure environment particularly during busy periods
