Double A welcomes new apprentice Dylan Philip!
We checked in with our newest (and youngest) team member Dylan Philip, who is currently two months into his Double A apprenticeship to see how he was getting along.
Dylan Philip commented on his apprenticeship so far:
"I just finished school and I am currently two months into my journey as an apprentice technician here at Double A. I applied for this apprenticeship at Double A because it looked like a very good and interesting job opportunity that I could sink my teeth into. My Grandad used to be a mechanic, so I developed an interest about machines at a young age.
I’m hoping that my apprenticeship here at Double A will set me up with hands on skills that I can use all my life as well as the knowledge to put my skill set more as a technician. I’m hoping with the skills that I learn with my apprenticeship I will be able to come out the other end as a fully qualified technician as I continue to challenge myself in the service department.
During my time here so far at Double A I have enjoyed learning how to drive and operate a lot of impressive machinery. So far, I have also been able to pick up some basic electrics repair techniques. Most of all, I have enjoyed going out in the van with the technicians for on-site repairs."
