Double A & Rangers F.C. Educate the Youth of Today
Double A, Rangers Football Club and Glasgow City Council team up to teach the youth of today about the professional groundcare industry.
Yesterday our Sales Director Ross Kelly, Golf and Sports Sales Specialist Greg Butler and Sales, Marketing & Media Assistant Liam Armit visited Ibrox Stadium, home of our customers at Rangers Football Club, to give the youth of today an insight into the careers and opportunities within the professional turfcare industry.
Our Sales Director Ross Kelly spoke to the children of St Roch's Secondary School, Smithycroft Secondary School and Hillhead Secondary School about the excellent, possible career paths they could take within the industry.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank David Roxburgh, Head Groundsman of Rangers F.C. for enlightening the young minds to his knowledge of professional turfcare and giving them a bit of an insight into what it’s like working for a professional football club.
We would like to thank all children and teachers for taking the time out of their day to come along and hear about the career paths available. A big thank you also to Rita Nemmo from Glasgow City Council for organising this excellent event!
We hope to have inspired those who attended to consider a role within the turf industry.
