Apprentice Technician Role Available - Aberdeen

Would you like to join a successful team, supplying the groundcare equipment that maintains some of the world’s most famous golf courses, stadiums and landmarks. If so, then get in touch with us about our latest job opening for Apprentice Service Technician at our Aberdeen Outlet. 

 As a Double A / John Deere trained apprentice your focus will be on providing our customers with service support for the machines they use to keep their pitches, courses and sports fields in top condition.

 Your apprenticeship will teach you to develop practical skills and proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, from routine maintenance and servicing through to diagnosis of faults and repairs.

 After training the duties of a John Deere Apprentice Technician will consist of:

Service equipment in our workshops and on-site
Perform repairs using modern technician tools and equipment including a laptop
Carry out warranty repairs and machine updates
Through ongoing training gain in depth knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems built into our machines to affect the timely repair of equipment

 Qualifications:

Your training will take place in our workshops and on-line and in person at John Deere's own training school in Nottinghamshire. When qualified you will hold a Level 3 Land Based Engineering Technician Certificate (LBSE) - the industry standard.
