The Role
We are looking for an Apprentice Technician for our Cupar Workshop. As a Double A/John Deere trained apprentice your focus will be on machinery used by golf courses, sports grounds, local authorities, estates and contractors.
You will learn to use the very latest John Deere equipment, working at the cutting edge of technology. Engineering is a practical subject. It's about making things work and fixing things that don't. You will gain the expertise required to work in a fast developing, high-tech industry that uses complex mechanical and electronic systems.
You will develop practical skills and proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, from routine maintenance and servicing through to diagnosis of faults and repairs.
Qualification
Your training will take place in our Cupar workshop, on-line and in person at John Deere's own training school in Nottinghamshire. When qualified you will hold a Level 3 Land Based Engineering Technician Certificate (LBSE) - the industry standard.
