Amey Like Spiders!
Amey maintain the UK’s road and rail infrastructure, keep schools safe and clean, manage the UK’s defence estate, safely escort prisoners and keep prisons and courts secure. They also collect and process waste, as well as deliver utilities services and when it came to cutting grass banks safely they opted for the Spider.
Spider remote controlled mowers are unique machines designed to maintain sloping, dangerous or inaccessible areas of grass and are the only slope mowers in the world with 4-wheel drive capable of safely maintaining slopes up to 55 degrees on fine turf or heavy brush.
Our picture shows the first of 5 Spiders being installed with some of the Amey grounds maintenance team.
