New Timberwolf PTO S426 Shredder
Following on from the success of the S426TDHB road tow and S426TFTR tracked shredders, Timberwolf is adding a PTO version of this popular multi-purpose shredder to the range. Aimed at tractors in the 80 to 115hp range, fitted with 1000rpm PTO, it is a valuable, cost effective option to the many operators with a requirement for a shredder, who currently run tractors of this size.
Most local authorities and contractors will be able to utilise this shredder with their existing tractors, extending their use and versatility, especially in the difficult times that everyone is experiencing, when costs need to be kept to a minimum and equipment utilised to the maximum.
Like its road-tow and tracked counterparts, the PTO S426 will handle a variety of materials, including greenwaste (brash, prunings, hedge trimmings, Leylandii, rootballs and Christmas trees), pallets, doors, chipboard, ply, cardboard and uPVC plastics, with a throughput of up to 3 tonnes per hour. Unlike a chipper, it will tolerate nails, screws, small metallic items (locks, hinges), stone and lumps of concrete up to fist size.
Availability will be from May and demand is expected to be high, judging from the number of customers who have previously asked for a PTO version and have been eagerly awaiting the launch.
